The people are urged to show maximum consciousness and wakefulness when they go to the polls on June 14 and not to vote for war, crime and corruption. Such a call was made by a group of Christians.

In a news conference at IPN, group member Mihai Balica said that those who will vote for the representatives of the ruling parties – who voted in favor of propaganda of homosexuality, robbed and committed crimes at a time when they promised ‘golden mountains’ with the integration into the EU – will become accomplices to all the atrocities committed over the last few years.

“Our society, since the European integration was declared the country’s course, has witnessed increasing tensions and aggravation, while the terrifying atrocities committed at the highest levels are not stopped or condemned. These tensions and aggravation inevitably lead to the appearance of an internal conflict that, if the government makes effort to annihilate or camouflage it, can determine an external conflict that will be fueled to distract the people’s attention from the seriousness of the daily problems,” stated Mihai Balica.

The head of the Association “Pro Ortodoxia” Ghenadie Valuta said that this struggle in society for the East, West, North or South can lead to serious consequences, even a war. “This war will be the consequence of our sins. These are personal sins, but are also public sins for which all the people will answer because they tolerate them. We tolerate the thefts, propaganda of homosexuality, parades and others,” he stated, noting that those who impose those public sins should not be voted.

The Christians called on the people to go to the church on June 14 and to pray for the voters to make a conscious choice so that there is elected administration that fears God and that respects the people.
