An interministerial task force has been created by the Government in a bid to recover a lost opportunity in the form €100 million in assistance offered by Romania back in 2010. Its financing agreement expired in March 2021 without any aid being received.
During its first meeting, the group discussed ways to initiate negotiations for renewing the agreement to make possible a number of development projects in key areas.
The work group consists of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health.
