The funeral of Grigore Vieru cost 445,000 lei. The money was allocated from the Government’s reserve fund. On Wednesday, Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanai ordered the creation of a working group that will examine and propose activities to commemorate the poet, like the publication of all his works, Info-Prim Neo reports. Grigore Vieru passed away as a result of a cardiac arrest on the night of January 18 after injured in a car accident. The poet suffered from cardiovascular, renal-hepatic and respiratory insufficiency. The bard was buried at the Central Cemetery situated on Armeneasca Street on January 20.
