The Green Ecologist Party on October 22 submitted the documents required for being registered as a runner in the November 30 parliamentary elections to the Central Election Commission (CEC). The same day, the CEC members decided to preliminarily write this party under No. 18 in the ballot.
Contacted by IPN, head of the CEC’s PR and Mass Media Division Rodica Sarbu said the first five candidates on the list of the Green Ecologist Parry are: the party’s leader Anatol Prohnitski, Alla Tofan, Alexei Palancean, Ana Zalevschi, and Gheorghe Cebotari.
Under the Election Code, the CEC registers the candidates within seven days of the reception of the documents. The order in the ballot becomes definitive only after the parties and persons are registered as election runners.
