The General Housing and Amenities Division is preparing a project for the improvement of a green space located between Nicolae Titulescu and Sarmizegetusa streets in Botanica district of the capital city. Vasile Efros, the head of the Division’s Territorial Development Unit, has told IPN that this extended green area inside the blocks, which was neglected for many years, will be transformed into an attractive square for residents.
The project involves the setting up of playgrounds for children and areas for recreation, but also for practicing outdoor sports, ensuring a pleasant and functional environment for the community. “We are at the designing stage. We plan to lay out the alleys, install urban furniture, a playground complex and a multifunctional sports field,” said Vasile Efros.
The area will be turned into a square. The necessary investments will be estimated after the project is completed.
