“As we hold the presidency of the Council of the EU, we make effort to have a swiftly implementable agreement and the materialization of this accord for integration into the European Union. Thus, we want the things agreed in Vilnius to be put into practice as soon as possible,” stated the Greek Prime Minister.

Antonis Samaras said the visit to Chisinau will be aimed at laying the bases of new cooperation so as to show how important this cooperation is and how important Moldova is for the European Union.

For his part, Victor Ponta reaffirmed Romania’s support for Moldova, saying that Romania has the natural obligation to do more than other EU member states.
