Zak Nicolopoulos could not help Soroca-Baschet in the game against Gamma Cahul. The 37-year-old Greek player made his debut for the team from northern Moldova, which lost the game at a difference of 10 points, IPN reports.

Soroca-Baschet dominated the final of the game, but was unable to change the scoreline and remained last in the rankings.

“I’m married to a Moldovan woman and we live in Soroca. I wanted to play basketball and thus I joined the local team,” Zak Nicolopoulos, who scored 10 points, said after the match.

The other games of the 16th stage ended as follows: Donbasket - Ceadir Lunga 128-72, Rybnitsa UTM - UASM 65-108, and SSSCJRO №2 - Admiral 115-85. In the rankings, Donbasket leads with one point more than Gamma Cahul.
