World Greco-Roman wrestling vice champion Victor Ciobanu has won a new national title. He scored three victories in the 63 kg weight class, IPN reports.
In the final played at the Sports Center for Training National Squads, Ciobanu beat Daniel Bostan. “I didn’t encounter problems in winning a new national title. I don’t remember how many such titles I won so far,” said Victor Ciobanu, who is likely to be named sportsperson of 2018 in Moldova.
The winners in the other weight categories are: Denis Deleanu (55 kg), Ion Bacal (60 kg), Donior Islamov (67 kg), Anatolie Popov (72 kg), Igor Beșleagă (77 kg), Victor Buzu (82 kg), Viorel Burduja (87 kg), Liviu Maluda (97 kg) and Anatolie Moldovan (+130 kg).
