The Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists will have in Parliament a group of 32 MPs and this will be headed by Zinaida Greceanîi. Corneliu Furculiță and Constantin Starîș will be deputy chairmen, while Vasile Bolea will serve as secretary, IPN reports.

In a program on the public radio station, Vasile Bolea said the given decisions will be announced in the July 29 sitting. The MP noted that under the Parliament’s regulations, the group can also nominate a person for Deputy Speaker. The name of the candidate hasn’t been made public yet.

Vasile Bolea said that on July 27 the MPs of the Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists had an informal discussion with the MPs of the Party of Action and Solidarity and the Shor Party and considered the distribution of the permanent commissions and their numerical composition, the appointment of MPs to international parliamentary delegations. “We discussed the wishes of our colleagues. We do not agree with some of the views and realize that the legal framework is disregarded in parts” noted Vasile Bolea.

“Tomorrow, if our mates want, we will have a second round of discussions so that we later take decisions in the meeting of the group and to present proceedings on the assignment of MPs to commissions, the administration of commissions, the appointments to international delegations.”

Three political entities form part of the new Parliament. These are the Party of Action and Solidarity with 63 seats of MP, the Electoral Bloc of the Communists and the Socialists with 32 seats and the Shor Party with six seats.
