Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanai will not demand that the director of Moldova’s Water Agency Veaceslav Iordan resign after a video with Iordan in sexual intercourse with two women appeared on the Internet.
“It is up to every person to decide on their personal life,” the Premier, who is a candidate for MP on the Communist ticket, told a news conference on Wednesday. In the local elections of 2007, the Liberal Dorin Chirtoaca defeated the Communist candidate Veaceslav Iordan in the race for the mayoralty of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“If someone considers that they should turn their life into mockery, it’s up to them,” Greceanai said. “We follow the principle: at work the people should be respectable and know how to work.
“It is not humanly to scoff at each other. I cannot and don’t want to comment. It could be a set-up. You should not interfere in one’s private life,” Zinaida Greceanai told the reporters.
