Great National Assembly to take place at National Palace

The nongovernmental organization “Transparent Moldova” aims to convene the Great National Assembly. The organization’s chairman Simion Lungu told a news conference that they do not want to stage a meeting of masses in the center of Chisinau, but a meeting of famous persons at the National Palace, Info-Prim Neo reports. ”For 20 years we have been witnesses of the interminable fight against corruption and inefficient policy. We plan to organize the Great National Assembly in order to strengthen our society and promote the honest persons who remained in Moldova,” said the chairman of “Transparent Moldova”. Simion Lungu called upon the young people and personalities who do not form part of political parties and of the government to join in. The Orhei-based ”Transparent Moldova” was founded in 2011. Until now it did not stage large meetings or protests.
