The German Bundestag invites young graduates of Moldovan universities to apply to the 2023 International Parliamentary Scholarship program. The scheme involves 15-week work placements with a Member of the German Bundestag. The scholarship enables university graduates to gain first-hand experience of Germany’s system of parliamentary government and political decision-making processes. The applicants must show high qualification and interest in the political life, IPN reports.
The IPS program of the German Bundestag lasts a total of five months (March 1 to July 31). The scholarship includes a monthly payment of €500, free accommodation, and health, accident and liability insurance, the Embassy of Germany in Chisinau noted in a press release.
The contest is open to persons with a university degree born after March 1, 1993, who have very good knowledge of the German language, have knowledge of the German political system, society and history. Detailed information about the program is available on the website of the German Bundestag. The complete file must be sent to info@chisinau.diplo.de in a PDF format by July 31, 2022.
Up to 120 sponsorships for young graduates from all over the world are awarded every year by the German Federal Parliament. Starting with 2008, 35 Moldovan young people have benefited from this program.
