Graduates of foreign military institutions have higher chances to climb professional hierarchy

Another 13 officers of the National Army graduated improvement training in foreign military institutions. On this occasion the Ministry of Defense, Valeriu Plesca, handed them orders of appointing in superior positions than held before these courses. In order to advance in military hierarchy, professional improvement is compulsory. The experience accumulated in foreign military institutions helps the officers to match the new standards of the National Army, - the minister considers. According to the interim-head of the Human Resources Management Department, lieutenant-colonel Serghei Cojocari, the decision to send the soldiers to study abroad is made taking into consideration the information offered by superiors and heads of superiors. At present professional improvement is ensured on the base of the agreements signed with USA, Romania, Germany, Russia and Lithuania. The soldiers of the National Army participated in over 600 of advanced trainings.
