Almost 68,000 future secondary school and lyceum graduates from all the country’s districts will take tests in the final exam subjects on March 27 – April 11, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry of Education. Adrian Ghicov, director of the Ministry’s Assessment and Examination Agency, said they aim to check how the teaching program is carried out and to organize pre-tests before this year’s session. The tests will be given in 27 school subjects at 505 theoretical lyceums, 48 colleges and 30 universities. The pre-tests will include an exam simulation at four secondary schools and four lyceums. The test papers will be examined by a national commission. In the other centers, the papers will be checked by special commissions in the education institutions. No grades will be given. The test results will be later discussed with the students. The graduation exams start in June.
