Each baccalaureate examination centre will be guarded by a “security crew” - police employees and medical assistants. This was established at a recent working meeting on the process of organising baccalaureate and graduation exams.
During the meeting, Vasile Tarlev interdicted to raise money from parents when passing entrance exams to the higher education institutions (for transport, accommodation). The way of organising exams will be made public via an informative publicity spot about the technical process, normative framework that bans raising certain funds in this respect, telephone number of the hotline etc.
As part of the meeting, it was decided the Ministry of Education and Youth (MEY) will create a number of hotlines which will receive complaints from teachers, parents or pupils. Also, a mobile team of representatives of MEY, police and local authorities will be trained to react to such calls and to act with a view to liquidating breaches admitted while passing exams.
Earlier Minister Victor Tvircun stated that teachers will be deprived of teaching rank if they become involved in the process of raising money for exams organisation.
MEY in concert with the Ministry of Information Development will draw up a register for diplomas and certificates, including protection signs to anticipate fakes.
