The Governmental Commission on European Integration held a meeting in order to set the objectives for 2015. In the meeting, acting Prime Minister Iurie Leanca asked for mobilization for the Riga Summit of this May, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The Premier requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry to provide the farmers with the assistance needed to fully benefit from the liberalization of the market with the European Union. “The access to the European market will allow the economic entities and the national economy to enjoy new stimuli for development,” he stated.
Iurie Leanca referred also to the necessity of preparing the first meeting of the Moldova – EU Association Council that was scheduled for the start of this year.
In the meeting, the acting Deputy Prime Ministers - Foreign Minister Natalia Gherman and Minister of Economy Andrian Candu – reported on the implementation in 2014 of the national plan for putting into practice the Association Agreement for 2014 – 2016.
