Government will purchase several more houses for flood-affected families

The Government will allocate 2 million lei for buying several houses for the persons whose houses were damaged by last summer’s floods and building materials for flood-affected families in Lipcani and Drepcauti villages, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Construction and Territorial Development Vladimir Baldovici said that they offered the given persons to purchase them new homes, but they refused saying that their houses were not seriously affected. But during winter, it was seen that the houses are in a critical condition. The conclusion was confirmed by the relevant local commissions. There will be bought 6 or 8 houses, depending on the results of the examinations. At the request of a number of families in Drepcauti and Lipcani, the financial aid for purchasing building materials will be increased.
