The Government will propose Parliament to declare a nationwide state of emergency for 30 days in Moldova in connection with the epidemiological situation. It approved a draft decision to this effect in a meeting called this evening after the meeting of the National Commission for Emergency Situations, IPN reports.
Prime Minister Ion Chicu asked to take measures so that only the strictly necessary personnel work in the areas of which the ministers and ministries are in charge, while the rest of the employees should stay at home. Such a measure is needed in order to limit the flow of passengers in the public transport and to reduce the risk of infection with the novel coronavirus.
