The Government will allocate the equivalent in lei of €30,000 to the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) from its reserve fund for covering the costs for broadcasting the Sochi Olympics, IPN reports.
The sum is stipulated in the agreement signed by TRM with the Olympic Broadcasting Services that will be producing and transmitting live radio and television coverage of the Olympic Games to the broadcasters.
The Olympic Games will take place on February 7-23. The opening ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Iurie Leanca.
