Government to start construction works of gas pipe Balti-Ungheni

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure together with the enterprise “Moldova-Gaz” will present next week to the Government the draft and the construction action plan of the gas pipe Balti-Ungheni. According to recent a press release of the Government, JSC “Moldova-Gaz” will also present to the Government the gasification participation Strategy of the Republic of Moldova planned to be implemented until 2009. The construction works of the 64 km gas pipe Tocuz-Mereni are performed according to the gasification schedule. The pipe line will be put into operation before November 1, 2006. The Government will undertake all the necessary actions in order to finish the gasification process of the country until December 31, 2009, a press-release of the Government reports, cited by Info-Prim Neo.
