The executive will analyze the draft law on delimitation of public property by the end of summer. The bill defines the methods of delimiting the public property and the process of registering it. The issue was disused in a meeting of the Parity Commission on Decentralization, IPN reports.

The discussions centered on the working out of decentralization strategies in the key sectors, namely property, education and social services, and the prospect of implementing the new system of local public finances all over the country from January 1, 2015.

For the Law on Local Public Finances to be correctly applied and the possible risks to be eliminated, a roadmap will be devised for the next five months.

By August 15, the working groups of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance, in concert with representatives of the local authorities, will set up a joint working group that will think up a series of proposals for correctly managing the powers and ensuring the financing of kindergartens.

The Parity Commission on Decentralization includes representatives of the central and local public authorities, MPs and experts in the field.
