The Government will create an automatic integrated Informational System in migration, which would intensify the control of migration waves in Moldova.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, this decision has been made at the initiative of the Commission for coordination of activities related to the migration process. The chairman of the Commission is the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Stratan.
According to the source, the system will include an electronic network of data and information exchange in the field of the migration between the Ministry of Informational Development, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Border Guard Service, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Ministry of Education and Youth, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and the Information and Security Service.
Thus, the automatic integrated Informational System in migration will include the evidence of already concluded invitations and of the persons who invite foreign citizens or stateless persons, the evidence of the persons who were issued visas for entering Moldova, evidence of foreign citizens and stateless persons who cross the state border, of persons who infringed the staying regime in Moldova, have been penalised by courts and have restrictions for immigration. At the same time the system will contribute to the improvement of the mechanism of collecting documentary evidence on foreign citizens and stateless persons.
According to the MAEIE, the creation of the automatic integrated Informational System in migration will involve both budgetary and non-budgetary funds.
