An inter-ministerial commission set up on May 21 by the Government is to thoroughly examine its policy papers. Till June 20, the commission will assess the timeliness of the documents' contents and will propose the Cabinet to modify or to cancel the outdated ones, which have no financial coverage or do not match the national priorities, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Natalia Catrinescu, the chief of the direction coordinating external policies and assistance of the Government's apparatus, who was designated the head of the commission, there are now about 300 policy papers in Moldova – strategies, programs and concepts, many of which are outdated, are not properly implemented and not not correlated enough among them. “Revising the existent policy papers will contribute to optimize the legal frame and will ease the activity of all the ministries and Government's subdivisions,” Catrinescu said. The commission is consisted of chiefs of directions dealing with analysis, monitoring and evaluation from ministries.
