The government program has been finalized. After the July 29 meeting, the three leaders of the Alliance for European Integration refused to provide details about the composition of the new Cabinet, saying this will be done after the components of the alliance field all their candidates, IPN reports.

The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) Vlad Filat said that today they finalized the government program and agreed the team that will form the new Government. He refused to say who are the candidates put forward by the PLDM, noting these are known persons. Asked if acting minister of education Maia Sandu will also form part of the new Cabinet, Filat said this will become known in the investiture meeting on July 30.

The head of the Democratic Party (PDM) Marian Lupu said the names of the ministers proposed by the Democrats will be presented when all the alliance colleagues field their candidates. “Today we met to agree the final details of the government program. This work is now over. Only technical work is yet to be done. We also discussed in detail the organization of the two sittings of Parliament, of July 30 and 31 - the ordinary meeting, the agenda and the proposed bills and the special meeting, where the new Government is to be voted in,” he stated.

The leader of the Liberal Party (PL) Mihai Ghimpu said the finalized government program was edited, multiplied and distributed to all the MPs. The PL fielded all its candidates, while the PLDM and PDM have yet to suggest by one candidate, one of whom for the post of minister of justice. The candidate for the post of deputy prime minister for reintegration hasn’t been yet fielded either.

The sitting to invest the Strelet Government is held on July 30, starting at 2pm.
