Government likely to discuss 2012 fiscal policy budget

The executive may examine today, October 5, the draft fiscal policy budget for next year, while the 2012 draft budget law in a week, Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced earlier, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
“The bills were discussed within ministries and with entrepreneurial associations and social partners. I submitted the bills to parliamentary groups so that they pronounce on them before they are debated in the Government’s meeting. At technical level, we discussed the parameters with the IMF mission that has been recently in Chisinau. A larger mission of the IMF will come to Moldova at the end of this month. With it, we will also discuss amendments to the 2011 budget law,” Vlad Filat told the reporters.
He also said that the budgetary-fiscal policy will be prudent. “The situation in the region is not the best. There are great risks persisting. We must be able to safely move on the path to economic development,” said the Premier.
The agenda of the October 5 meeting of the Government does not include the 2012 fiscal policy document, but it is not exulted that it will be incorporated as an additional item. The meeting starts at 3pm.
