Secretary of state of the Ministry of Justice Eduard Serbenco was named the Government’s representative to the Constitutional Court. The Cabinet approved a bill to this effect on Wednesday, IPN reports.

Also, secretary of state of the Ministry of Justice Stanislav Kopetski was designated as a substitute for the Government’s representative to the Constitutional Court.

According to Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, the bill was drawn up in connection with the changes made to the regulations concerning the Government’s representatives to Parliament and the Constitutional Court. “The post of permanent representative of the Government to Parliament is assigned to the Government’s secretary general, while the post of substitute representative is assigned to one of the secretaries of state designated by order of the Government’s secretary general. The positions of permanent representative and substitute representative of the Government to the Constitutional Court are assigned to the secretaries of state of the Ministry of Justice designated by the Cabinet in an appropriate way,” stated the official.
