The Pro-European Coalition has launched a campaign to inform the people of Moldova about the European integration process. MPs, ministers and party members will go from settlement to settlement and will offer information about the European integration of Moldova. The decision was taken by the Coalition’s General Assembly on February 20, IPN reports.
Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat told the press that this campaign is needed in order not to allow the lie to manipulate society. The people must be provided with correct information about what everyone will obtain from this process.
The Democratic Party’s head Marian Lupu said each of the parties of the coalition launched the own information campaign about the European integration earlier and now the efforts were united. “This struggle is very important for ensuring the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU and its ratification,” he stated.
Leader of the Liberal Reforming Party Ion Hadarca said that by parties’ actions this campaign will be consolidated. It is important to make use of the support of those who represent the European community and to propagate it among the voters.
The Coalition’s General Assembly brings together all the MPs and ministers of the coalition and the administration of the member parties. It is convened when necessary, but at least once in half a year. The decisions are taken by consensus.
