The Council of the government coalition took cognizance of the results of the parliamentary elections, confirmed the cohesion of its members and their determination for continuing to support the reforms assumed through the government program and the country’s Association Agreement with the EU, IPN reports.
The Council held its first meeting after the Board of the International Monterey Fund approved the financing program for Moldova and after the presidential runoff. In a press release, the Coalition’s secretariat says the meeting discussed the parliamentary agenda priorities and the political developments in the country.
The participants in the meeting discussed the legislative priorities in the context of the approval of the agreement with the IMF. It was agreed to draw up a plan of action for promoting the 2017 budgetary-fiscal policy and state budget law as matters of urgency.
