The persons who will lose a case in court will have 15 days to comply with the court order. In such a case, the person will pay only the case starting and archiving tax, not enormous sums as at present. Amendments to this effect are contained in a law for which the Government assumed responsibility, Info-Prim Neo reports.
After the Government’s meeting, Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim said that after the reform of the court decision implementation system was carried out a year ago, the bailiffs became free law professionals, but a number of shortcomings were identified meanwhile. Complaints about the disproportional payments levied by the bailiffs came to the Ministry o Justice.
Under another amendment approved by the executive, the Disciplinary Board of the National Bailiffs Union was transferred to the Ministry of Justice.
The law also envisions that a share of the bank’s capital can be transferred only with the written preliminary consent of the central bank, while the rights of ownership over securities – only when the court decisions are irrevocable.
Prime Minister Vlad Filat said the reform hasn’t been fully implemented and the approved amendments are aimed at remedying the situation. He added that the responsibility for the given law was assumed under Article 106 of the Constitution with the consent of the alliance partners.
