Tens of millions of lei was budged for reunifying the country. On April 3, the Government approved a decision whereby it allocated the money for definite activities, IPN reports.

Acting Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Carpov said that 600,000 lei will go to provide lump sums of 75,000 lei to the Romanian teaching schools and lyceums in Tiraspol, Rybnitsa, and Bender and to Transnistrian settlements for purchasing equipment for carrying out renovation works. The largest sum will be used to rehabilitate a number of water supply systems and to extensively and partially repair infrastructure facilities, medical institutions, and kindergartens, and for ensuring street lighting in the settlements situated near the Nistru River.

The memorial complex Serpeni Bridge Head will be also repaired and laid out. A series of documents about the Nistru armed conflict will be published and promoted.
