Government approves national legislation adjustment plan for 2012

The executive endorsed the national legislation adjustment plan for 2012. Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim said the document contains 58 measures relevant to the development of the relations between Moldova and the EU, Info-Prim Neo reports. Next year, there will be worked out and approved 23 normative documents concerning phytosanitary, veterinary and animal-breeding activity, six decisions on public procurement, and 11 normative documents connected with the Competition Law and the Law on State Benefit. They all are very important in the process of negotiating the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area with the EU, said the minister. There will be also drafted the Law on Thermal Energy and the Law on Mandatory Health Insurance Based on the Public-Private Partnership. The plan also includes four decisions aimed at fulfilling the commitments made in the talks on the Association Agreement with the EU, including the decision regarding the regulation of the visa regime in Moldova. The process will be coordinated by the Legislation Harmonization Center of the Ministry of Justice.
