The citizens of the Republic of Moldova who receive pensions or state social allowances, including in other states, who were conferred state awards of the Republic of Moldova or the former USSR will be able to receive nominal allowances either they live in the Republic of Moldova or outside it. The mechanism for providing state nominal allowances was approved by the Government, IPN reports.
The Executive also authorized the provision of allowances for special merits towards the state to the wife, husband or one of the parents of the person who was awarded posthumously the “Order or the Republic” or the order “Ştefan cel Mare”, who live outside the country, but are citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
As an exception, the war veterans who were conferred state awards will be entitled to nominal allowances either they receive pensions or state social allowances or not and either they live in the Republic of Moldova or not.
In the same meeting, the Government approved a decision to correspondingly equate the state awards of the former USSR, namely the order “Red Flag”, the order “War for Defending the Homeland”, class I and II, order “Red Star”, order “Glory” and order “For Personal Bravery”, with the Moldovan state award “Faith to the Homeland”, class I.
