The Government approved a bill on the energy performance of buildings, which regulates the certification of energy performance so that the potential buyers or dwellers are informed about the energy efficiency of apartments, IPN reports.

The bill regulates the mechanism of inspecting the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, the mechanism for checking reports on the periodical inspection of heating and cooling systems.

In the case of new buildings, there will be much more rigorous norms and mechanisms for infrastructure referring to electric vehicles are introduced.

It is also introduced the obligation to set up electric car charging stations and integrated infrastructure for electric car charging in non-residential and residential buildings.
