The Stefan Voda district council will receive over 800,000 lei from the Government’s reserve fund for buying houses for five landslide-stricken families from Popeasca village. The decision was taken by the executive in the February 19 meeting, IPN reports.
Another five district councils, of Cahul, Calarasi, Causeni, Criuleni and Ialoveni, will receive 386,000 lei for liquidating the consequences of the natural disasters of last year’s spring and summer (rain accompanied by hail and high winds). As a result of them, there were damaged residential and non-residential buildings and private houses from a number of villages of the mentioned districts.
