Government allocates money for Eurovision

The executive decided to financially support Moldova’s participation in Eurovision, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under a Government Decision, 250,000 lei will be allocated from the executive’s reserve fund to the national public broadcaster Teleradio-Moldova for partially covering the costs related to the participation of Moldova’s representative in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. This year Moldova will be represented in Azerbaijan’s Baku by Pasha Parfeni. In the first semifinal on May 22, the Moldovan singer will perform the 17th. The Eurovision final will take place on May 26.
