About 15,000 of the 80,000 jobless persons who registered officially in 2010 were employed, Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga said during the presentation of the employment action plan for 2011, which was approved by the Government in its February 2 meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Valentina Buliga said that after this document is implemented, the jobless rate that now stands at 5.7% will reduce by 2-3%.
The plan contains measures aimed at supporting the small and medium-sized companies that will create new workplaces, promoting mobility on the labor market and at developing the human potential. The costs are in line with the spending of the 2011 state budget and state social insurance budget.
