The foreign assistance in 2012 will represent 6.8% of the total national public budget revenues, which is almost twice less than in 2010. The grants will make up 2.6% of the 2012 GDP, Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. According to the minister, the Government is making effort to diminish the national public budget’s dependence on the special foreign financing provided in 2009 and 2010. The IMF supports such an approach. “Even if our foreign partners are ready to help, we should better manage on our own. We hope to succeed by reducing the public expenditure, improving management of public finances and implementing fiscal policy measures,” said Veaceslav Negruta. Thus, 35.3 billion lei, 19.6 billion lei or 55.4% of the projected national public budget revenues will be collected by the subdivisions of the State Tax Service, while 13.2 billion lei − by the divisions of the Customs Service.
