The leader of the parliamentary group of the Liberal Democratic Party Tudor Deliu said that most of the men in the Transnistrian region during the past month had been called to general mobilization exercises. The Moldovan constitutional authorities ignore this fact and this shows that they act in concert with the self-styled bodies of the Transnistrian region, IPN reports.
“The Liberal-Democratic parliamentary group does not understand why the current government tries to overlook an unordinary case for the Republic of Moldova – when most of the men in the Transnistrian region received citations from the so-called ministry of defense by which they are called to general mobilization exercises on November 17,” Tudor Deliu told the press.
The Lib-Dems requested to invite Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Gheorghe Balan to Parliament so that this clarifies the situation for the MPs and the people. According to Tudor Deliu, the Speaker of Parliament invoked all kinds of reasons to avoid inviting Gheorghe Balan. Therefore, the Lib-Dems have reasons to believe that the current government acts in concert with the so-called authorities of Transnistria.
