Ten firefighting vehicles struggled to extinguish a fire at a glass painting workshop in Râșcani district of Chisinau last night. The workshop is on the first floor of the Mezon factory situated on Moscova Blvd. According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, no one was hurt in the fire.
General Inspectorate for Emergencies press officer Liliana Pușcașu has told IPN that highly flammable objects were inside the storehouse and the fire could have spread swiftly.
Firemen localized the fire in about an hour and put it out close to 11pm. The cause of fire is not yet known. An investigation is under way.
