A young woman that was hurled off a seventh-floor balcony after being gang-raped together with a friend in their apartment by six men died Monday afternoon ten days after the assault, IPN learned from the Chisinau Emergency Hospital.
The 16-year-old was admitted to hospital in critical condition shortly after the assault early in the morning on May 5. The other woman, 21, managed to escape and report the case to the police.
Four suspects have been arrested, as two others are wanted. The suspected assaulters are aged 20-26. One of them had been released under bail in a robbery case.
