Girl kills elder 'rapist'

A 16-year-old girl murdered a man aged 69 who tried to rape her. The girl is from Burgeaca village of Cahul district. She has been begging in Chisinau for a period, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat's press office, said the two got acquainted in a park in Chisinau's Centru district. The man invited the girl to his place in Buiucani district, where they drank alcohol and vodka.
The girl told the police she hit the man in the head with a dumbbell when he tried to rape her. She said that when she escaped from the attacker, she locked the door and left.
The neighbors of the man called the police when they felt smell of dead body. The girl was caught shortly afterward. The case is investigated by the Buiucani Prosecutor's Office.
