Girl dies in unknown circumstances

A 16-year-old girl was discovered dead in her apartment in Chisinau's Ciocana district. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the girl's aunt called the ambulance to an apartment on Mircea cel Batran Blvd. The doctors determined that the girl had died about two hours ago. The cause of death is yet to be established. A man aged 28 fell asleep in the car he was repairing in a garage on Uzinelor St. Not long afterward, he was found dead as he got poisoned with exhaust fumes. A 53-year-old woman was transported to the Emergency Hospital with general hypothermia, while a man aged 23 underwent lavage after he took pills to kill himself. A man was removing the ice from his car parked on Dacia Blvd. and was hit by a car passing nearby. He sustained a cranial cerebral trauma and contusions of the knee and arms. A number of 165 persons suffered different traumas, mainly after sliding and falling on the ice, on Thursday, February 11. The Chisinau Ambulance Service recorded 853 calls, dealing with 84 cases of acute viral infection, 15 cases of flu and four strokes.
