Ghimpu to Reidman: “Jews have a high culture, but you bring shame on them”

During a dispute in the Parliament between the Communist MPs and the MPs of the Liberal-Democratic coalition, Head of Parliament and Moldova’s Acting President Mihai Ghimpu told Communist Oleg Reidman that he brings shame on the Jews who are people of a high culture. “Mister Ghimpu distinguished me from the other MPs by ethnicity and this is not right. In the legislative body, I represent the Moldovan people, not a certain culture,” Oleg Reidman said.
