Gheorghe Gaberi was named director general of the National Food Safety Agency by a Cabinet decision. Gaberi is a Doctor of Agriculture with scientific research and teaching experience and with experience of work at public institutions. He served at the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agriculture and earlier also managed the National Food Safety Agency, but for a short period of time, IPN reports.
Gheorghe Gaberi knows well the safety and quality requirements for agricultural products on the European and other markets, including the internal one, and is well-known among winemakers and winegrowers.
