Gheorghe Arpentiev becomes MP several months after appointed deputy minister

The Cabinet dismissed Gheorghe Arpentiev from the post of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry as he decided to take a seat in Parliament and work as part of the Democratic Party's group, Info-Prim Neo reports. By another decision, Dumitru Godoroja was named Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry instead of Arpentiev. Godoroja is a specialist in food processing and a former Social-Democrat MP.
