Germany reconfirms its support for the implementation of reforms aimed to advance Moldova on its European path. This was stated by Magret Ueber, the German Ambassador to Moldova, during a meeting with Mihai Popșoi, Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials appreciated the high level of Moldovan-German relations, a fact reconfirmed by the intensity of the political-diplomatic dialogue and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, which continues successfully this year. The discussions focused on the status and prospects of bilateral relations, highlighting the interest in expanding economic cooperation between our countries.
Following the discussions, Minister Mihai Popșoi thanked the interlocutor for Germany’s support in helping Moldova manage the economic and political challenges in our country’s EU accession journey.
The officials also welcomed the common goals and projects in areas of strategic interest.
