German Ambassador Wolfgang Lerke completes his diplomatic mission in Moldova

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Moldova Wolfgang Lerke,has completed his diplomatic mission in Chisinau. During his last meeting with Premier Vasile Tarlev, the ambassador has reiterated Germany’s position as regards widening and further developing co-operation relationships, pointing out that his country is supporting and encouraging consistently Moldova’s choice for the territorial reintegration and European values. According to a press communiqué of the Government, Tarlev outlined that during Wolfgang Lerke’s tenure as head of the diplomatic mission, essential progress was registered both at bilateral level and within international bodies. In the context of consolidating the bilateral co-operation between Moldova and Germany, the Premier paid particular attention to the promotion of the economic and trade relations and to the plenary increase in the value of the existing potential by establishing some direct relations between the business people of the two countries.
