The Superior Council of Magistracy on March 25 accepted the resignation tendered by judge Gennady Pavliuc, vice president of the Ciocana Court, IPN reports.
Gennady Pavliuc submitted his resignation to the chancellery of the SCM and asked to examine it in his absence. The resignation was accepted by the votes of seven Council members. A copy of the decision is to be transmitted to President Maia Sandu.
A week ago, the SCM accepted the resignations tendered by the president of the Chisinau Appeals Court Vladislav Clima, and another three judges: Sergiu Bularu of the Chisinau Court, Tudor Berdilă of the Cahul Appeals Court and Ion Cazacu of the Drochia Court based on Glodeni. President Sandu already signed the dismissal decrees.
Earlier this week, the resignation handed by judge Alexandru Gheorghieș, former president of the Bălți Appeals Court, who is investigate for unjust enrichment, was also accepted.
