The General Assembly of Judges was set for April 11. A decision in this regard was approved on Tuesday by the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM), IPN reports.
The members of the SCM approved the draft agenda. Among the issues that will be debated is the election of the permanent member of the Superior Council of Magistracy from among judges of the courts of appeals.
The meeting will examine the progress report of the SCM and the specialized bodies of the Council and the judiciary for 2024. Also, the regulations on the functioning of the General Assembly of Judges and amendments and supplements to the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct of Judges are to be approved.
The General Assembly of Judges will take place at the Palace of the Republic, starting at 10:00 a.m.
