The General Assembly of Judges will take place on March 17. A decision to this effect was taken by the Superior Council of Magistracy on Tuesday, IPN reports.
The Council agreed the agenda of the scheduled General Assembly of Judges. The Council’s acting chairman Dorel Musteață said the approval of the amendments made to regulations on the functioning of the General Assembly of Judges is the first item on the agenda, while the election of the permanent members of the Council from among judges is the second item on the agenda.
Earlier, the General Assembly of Judges had been put off for several times, including due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
